Incredibly slow boot

Featured Replies

Got a new motherboard (Asus P5N32-E SLI) with 6 sata ports, I transferred everything over as I've done before and it works but the time it takes to boot up is ridiculous. I connected it up to a monitor and watched it and it was pretty long, like 3+ mins.

You may have your USB port set in the BIOS to a legacy mode where is operates at USB 1.0 speeds.

I think that was the first thing I checked although I'll check again. I did look to make sure it was in hi-speed and not full speed but that option doesn't seem available in the Asus BIOS.
