System freezing - ACPI Bios error

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Hope you are going to be able to help. The last few weeks my system has been freezing/crashing every 24-36 hours needing a few reboots to get it working again. In the log I see acpi bios error.  Any thoughts?

log attached.

Thanks

Nothing obvious so far, I do see issues with ATA3 and ATA7, looks like a power/connection issue, check/replace cables for those devices and see if there are no more errors.

Thank you. Had a crash again and when I reboot get this come up. The docker is either not loaded correctly or has loaded. Any thoughts? TIA

You should post your system's diagnostics zip file in your next post in this thread to get more informed feedback.  It is always a good idea to post this if your question might involve us seeing how you have things set up or to look at recent logs.

Here’s the log file the syslog won’t download. Looks like lots of errors

Still having device errors, the docker image is also corrupt now, but you need to solve the device errors first.
