MrSatchmoo
Those 12 files in the lost+found folder were random music files I don't need. I was even able to download them using the giu. This is all pretty amazing to a noob like me. ☺️ The old disk was not mountable at all. Just vanished as soon as I tried to mount it. Quote Link to comment

MrSatchmoo
So I just stop the array, add the new drive as disk 2 and start the array? It says: "Start will start Parity-Sync and/or Data-Rebuild." behind the start button. that sounds right, doesn't it? (Again sorry for so many questions about stuff that is obvious for you, I guess. I just don't want to do some big f*** up at the last moment.) Quote Link to comment

Again, thank you very much for your help! btw: Not sure if I can mark one reply as 'solution' as there were lots of steps to follow. Any suggestions to help the next user? 1 Quote Link to comment
