Hi there just wondering if anybody knows what could be causing my SuperMicro 5in3 HDD Activity light to be on 24/7. As soon as I press the power button on server the lights stay lit forever. The problem only happens with Seagate 3TB st3000dm001 drives. Thanks

    I have the same problem with the same drive, just not in a drive cage.  Black tape works wonders  ;)
