Hi I want to go through some of my files and rename them, move them about etc. However every time i try i get an error message saying i require permission to do this.

 

My shares are set to export [yes] Security [public] and my drives are set to export [yes(hidden)] security [public]. I just dont know what to do?

 

The only way I can do this seems to be via console in outty.

 

Do I need to somehow log in?

Do you have some network sniffer or detection software running on your network? In the past this error seemed to be caused by external software probing of unmenu.

I dont have any network detection/sniffer software that I am aware of!

Go to Utils/New permissions. Check the box and press go. Worked wonders!

Where is Utils/New permissions ? I do not see it with unraid 4.7.
