Can't connect to my unraid enshrouded game using local IP address and I can only connect to it if I connect it via online

So I'm new here and basically I noticed when playing on my Enshrouded game I can only connect to it using my IP but not the local IP. This is an issue because it is using my internet and which i am maxing out my 1gbps upload speed causing me to lag even tho it is on my network it is still using the internet to do everything.

 

This is also the case for all the other servers that I have running such as vrising, palworld. 

My local IP refuses to connect and I can only use my external IP to connect to them
