Problem with throttling Intel N100 on Unraid

Featured Replies

Hi,

Why Unraid shows that process is still at over 2800Mhz and load are very high?

when I set power saving in BIOS Unraid shows always 800mhz and load arround 10% that is weird, shouldn’t be load higher on lower mhz?

This only displays nominal speed, not actual.

Use corefreq plugin if you want to see current clocks.

But why load is higher when nominal speed is also higher?

nominal vs real speed

Looks like you have C-states disabled so the CPU never really slows down.

Usage on the dashboard includes iowait, so if things are waiting on drives it goes up even if actual CPU usage is low. Compare to htop which is pure CPU load.

BIOS settings. Different on every motherboard, I don't have this specific one so you will need to look around.
