ERROR - Disk write protected

Featured Replies

Hello everyone and sorry for my bad English. I'm getting this error if I try to write even a 0kb file, or delete.

There is still 171GB free in the pool. I'm attaching the diagnostics if anyone wants to take a look.

Thank you

This can happen when trying to completely fill up a btrfs filesystem, see here for a workaround:

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately I tried but the file system is read only.

I tried to check but I don't see any problems.

Do you have any solution?

Thanks

Reboot, start the array, don't try to write to the pool, then post new diags.

For some reason not seeing the pool stats in the diags, post the output of:

btrfs fi usage -T /mnt/plot_share

Command launched. I'm attaching a new diagnostic just to be safe.

Now diags are complete, and no pool errors so far, try deleting some data, then you can either run a scrub to see if the pool is OK, or try again the workaround above.
