March 15, 20242 yr Im planning to migrate my Unraid to something more power efficient (Intel N100), how can i convert my current Windows VM which im using right now, to physical machine? Unraid will be on that Intel N100, converted Windows VM will be on actual server/PC Is there any tutorial for this?

Technically speaking, this Windows VM will run on the current PC which runs Unraid right now, only unraid with all the disks will be transferred to the new hardware. That VM is pretty important to me and I have to be prepared for everything
March 15, 20242 yr You would backup inside the VM, then restore to a bare metal disk. If you want to be safe, remove all the disks that are assigned to the array or pools plus the Unraid USB stick, and restore. Then if something goes wrong you can just plug everything back in.
