March 19, 20242 yr I think that it's been about 2 weeks since I have logged into the unRaid dashboard through my PC, but all of the sudden the connection is refused. As far as I can tell, nothing has changed on my end, other than AVG recently had a big update but I turned off it's firewall and protection completely to ensure that was not the problem, and no help. Plex works fine, from home and remotely. I can even navigate the folders through Windows Explorer, but trying to log in through the web I get denied. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated...
March 19, 20242 yr Community Expert Solution What is your PC running? (most of the time, this problem is on the PC side of the equation!) I realized that this appears to be a failure to access the Unraid GUI using a Web Browser. Try using the GUI boot option in the Unraid boot menu. Then go to the Settings >>> Management Access There look at the "Use SSL/TLS:" setting and the "Local access URLs:" info. Turn on the help for both of these. (Clicking on the 'label' will display the 'Help' for each...) Edited March 19, 20242 yr by Frank1940
March 20, 20242 yr Author Thank you @Frank1940, I forgot to mention that my PC is Win 2011, I also have a laptop running 2011, which stopped connecting as well. I will give your advice a shot and report asap.
April 15, 20242 yr Author Hello @Frank1940, sorry for long delay in following up here, but work took me out of town for weeks. I turned "Use SSL/TLS" to yes, and now I can connect to my tower from PC, but it is flagging it as "unsecured", I believe that is because of the re-direct. Any way, I am all good to go now and thank you for your help.
