apgproone Posted March 24 Share Posted March 24 Hi, I'm new to unraid and trying to find the answer to the following scenario: - 3 disks in array, data present on all disks - no parity, no cache - several user shares, high-water allocation, split as required - no disk shareas - data from user shares backed up in regular intervals to external storage Should 1 of the 3 disks fail and the disk is replaced, how to restore files in all user shares from external backup? thanks Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted March 24 Solution Share Posted March 24 Just copy the data back from the backup, you can use for example rsync, it will only copy the missing data. Quote Link to comment
