unRaid Crashed...Again

Featured Replies

Hi guys.

So i have been having some issues with B13. Anyway i started to copy up a guest from my ESXi server and it locked unRaid up. I could not use the web gui but i could get to unMenu.

I have managed to get a sys log before i HAD to reboot the box. Can anyone spot anything from the log?

my unRaid will crash with and without addons installed. Are you seeing something that would suggest addons are an issue?

Have you run a memory test?

Do you have the CLock-Speed, Timing, and Voltage set in your BIOS for your specific memory strips?  (Some BIOS set them correctly automatically, many do not)

They can easily cause the issues you are reporting on boot-up.

Try disabling your Cache mover. I was having a recurring crash everyday at 4 AM which was when my mover was scheduled to run. Since disabling it my server has been fine. I will need to turn it back on when I have some time to troubleshoot and gather logs from it. At this point i need the server up for some work.

Hello.

I will check my BIOS and see if anything stands out. I am sure when i last looked there was nothing i could set to do with memory.

Also i dont have a cache drive yet. Should i still disable this?

Ok so i have checked my BISO and i cant see anything that i can set to do with memory or power. Apart from how fast my fan goes LOL.

I also performed a checkdisk on my USB key in windows as i was getting lots of errors on start up. This seems to have fixed the boot up stuff.

But i am sure that my crash is going to come back as somepoint.

I am getting those errors as well after I replaced my parity drive, did you find a answer? I am running 4.7 though? I am running another parity check now hopefully it doesn't lock up,
