VPN client on Ubuntu Desktop never connects

Greetings people!

My old VM suddenly refused to boot up, so I created a fresh Ubuntu Desktop with the latest LTS iso. Installation was fine and I can access my shared drives and the internet. The issue is my PIA VPN client is forever trying to connect (spinning yellow circle).

The client's list of servers all have latency readings, and I'm not sure what logs to look at to try and troubleshoot this. I just tried their browser extension for Firefox and that works.

Happy to be redirected to a KB i've missed or if i'm in the wrong place.

So it turns out I needed to re-install the client (in the meantime there was a newer version) and reboot my VM. Client now works without issue.

A lot of back and forth with PIA support, including using the OpenVPN terminal method and Firefox browser extension which both worked immediately.

Coincidentally the noVNC copy/paste clipboard now works, which didn't on my old VM.
