Anyone running a Mymovies server or MCE extender host on top of unraid?

Hey guys,

 

Since I am building a nice new unraid server, it occured to me that I still need a windows box to manage my Mymovies database.  I would also prefer to use windows for Torrents.  Plus, I need this box to server as a MCE extender for 3 xboxs that I have.  Right now, I have a poweredge 1850 that I plan to use for this.  However, noise and power consumption are leaning me toward possibly running a VM on top of unraid.  Is anyone currently doing this?  Is it as fast as running a dedicated box?  And from a technical standpoint, is it easier and safer to have a dedicated windows box for this or would the VM do what I want?
