smino Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Anyone use this in unriad? IBM ServeRAID M1015 Which cables did you buy? Is it a better deal then the AOC 8 port?
Ford Prefect Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Anyone use this in unriad? IBM ServeRAID M1015 sure...but only good after cross-flashing it to a HBA, see here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=12767.msg121131#msg121131 Which cables did you buy? Is it a better deal then the AOC 8 port? ...same cables as for the AOC-SASLP. I swapped cards and re-used and plugged the same cables in.

Anyone use this in unriad? IBM ServeRAID M1015 Which cables did you buy? Is it a better deal then the AOC 8 port? 1. Yes, 2. .5M cables are to short for use in Norco servers. get longer. 3. It depends on where you bought it and sales. * I believe you need to run 5.0 beta for automatic spindown and drives temps. Betas 13&14 are broken with these cards. hopefully 15 fixes it.
Zuhkov Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I have two and I love them. I've been using P10 for a while with no major issues (I have one wonky backplane, but that's a separate issue). I just flashed my other M1015 to P11 and I'm anxious to try it out. I purchased my cables from monoprice. Work great.
