Hallo,

ich liebäugle damit Unraid zu versuchen. Bislang benutze ich OMV6. Dort habe ich vier ext4 Festplatten, jeweils zwei 8 TB und zwei 4TB. Eine ist immer zur Datennutzung, die andere zum inkrementellen wöchenlichem Spiegeln der Daten.

Für mich wäre interessant ob man die Platten einbinden kann ohne das diese Formatiert werden müssen d.h. Ohne das Daten verloren gehen?

    Nope, das wird nicht gehen ...

     

    du kannst diese als UAD einbinden (zum Beispiel deine Backup Platte) und in ext4 belassen, aber alles was ins Array soll (oder als pool) wird formatiert werden müssen ... xfs, btrfs, zfs ...

     

    ps. den Doppelpost lösche ich dann hiermit.
