Hi All, I'm new to this. I'm planning to put together a NAS using following combination and would like to know if this would work?

 

  • 12th gen i3 CPU and an ASUS mobo with Thunderbolt 4 header.
  • 4tb x 4 Crucial P3 Plus SSD (RAID 0)
  • 2tb Crucial P3 Plus as cache drive
  • 16tb x 4 Seagate Ironwolf Pro. (RAID 5)

I'll get the supported thunderbolt card.

 

Question:

Can I create a Thunderbolt network on Unraid and connect directly to my M2 macbook? Will the filesharing between SSD Raid 0 and Macbook yield 40gbps?
