Disks disabled after reboot

Featured Replies

One of two parity drives and one array drive say that they are disabled after accidental reboot, forgetting that Unbalanced was running. It was 'gathering' files to disk1 when the restart occurred. Both drives were installed and working fine until the restart. I can run a SMART test on both without error.

parity (WDC_WD140EDGZ-11B1PA0_Y6GE7ZYD) is disabled

disk1 (WDC_WD142KFGX-68AFPN0_6AGB224U) is disabled

How do I get them re-enabled?

This doesn't explain disabled drives, but since it happened before this boot we can't see what happened, post new diags after array start.

Disk1 is mounting but also empty, is that expected?

Yes, nearly empty. I recently replaced Disk1.  Unbalanced was running to copy files back onto Disk1 and I think a couple GB (out of 4-5TB) had been moved.

You can then rebuild on top.
