March 19, 200818 yr Based on the first announcement of 4.3, it would seem that support for SiI313x cards (and port multipliers) is new. I therefore thought I'd report my success with 2 SD-SA3132-2IR cards in a P5B-VM DO running 4.3.beta3. The cards went in the 4x and 16x PCIe slots on the motherboard, but they are obviously running @1x. I went with two cards (in addition to my Promise TX4) instead of just one plus a port multiplier because i) it was cheaper, and ii) I thought there was a chance that they would use different PCIe lanes. -- edit: see also http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=1700.0
