April 4, 20242 yr I have been trying to rebuild a disk after upgrading my final 2tb to an 8tb for a couple days now. What will happen is anywhere between 30 minutes - 4 hours in I will be unable to access WebGUI or anything on the server. Any devices plugged into the server don't have communication and whenever this happens the lights on my LAN port go out but my switch still sees something plugged into it. The only error I have found was from the kernel ata1.00: exception Emask 0x0 SAct 0x7c07ffff SErr 0x0 action 0x6 frozen When this error popped the server still functioned as intended. I have had syslog server running and even it hasn't gotten any data from when the server actually crashes out. I have replaced the SATA cable to the drive affected by that error and thus far it has not returned but I am still experiencing the crashing. April 4, 20242 yr Community Expert Take care of this, including RAM speeds whichs are above max: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/?do=findComment&comment=819173 For the ATA errors swap both power and SATA cables for parity with a different disk, and see where the issue follows.
