New Array Build looking ahead to Unraid 7

Featured Replies

So, it was mentioned in the podcast a few weeks ago that unraid 7 should be better supporting zfs pools with multiple arrays and adding single disks etc.

I am in the processing upgrading hardware now, moving to a 48 disk setup and was wondering how to best position the setup to allow for enabling those features in the future.

My goal is to have pools to take advantage of the pooled drive speeds and have some redundancy with the ability to add drives individually later on down the line.

What do you all think that the best path forward is for someone looking ahead and has a large amount of disks that could provide the best bandwidth from the drives.  (Sas3 10tb drives)

Thanks,

Chris
