April 7, 20242 yr Other than the parity-sync in progress (69.1%) I have absolutely nothing else going on. Not a single VM created. No other background tasks. Is it normal that I see these CPU spikes. And, the CPU will randomly change. Could the Parity Sync be causing it. The sync status defintely doesn't look right. Thank you @JorgeB Makes sense as the parity sync staus appeared permanently stuck at 69.1% for what seemed like an eternity. I eventually stopped the sync and powered down the PC. Obviously, the bad drive must go.
