Unmountable: Unsupported ore no file system

Featured Replies

As you can see in the picture, there is a disk that has come off.
The disk that has died will be replaced with a 4TB Sata SSD, but to be able to do that, I have to make a "New Config"?
Does this mean that the data on disk 1, which for some reason is not emulated, cannot be recreated?
A little extra info: There are 18 usable TB. Approx. 2 TB on each disk was used, 6 TB in total.
Hope some of you can help.

You cannot replace a 6TB disk with a 4TB SSD, for now please post the diagnostics.

Have you tried following the procedure documented here in the online documentation accessible via the Manual link at the bottom of the Unraid GUI.  In addition every forum page has a DOCS link at the top and a Documentation link at the bottom.

Only if you want to lose all previous contents of the drive.

You have not mentioned if you tried the procedure for handling unmountable disks and if soi what the results were.

The 4 TB SSD's is my only option, the 8 TB SSD's are too exspensive. I am not buying more spinning metal they die after a couple of months og use, Both Seagate and WD.

I have a hardtime understanding that document.

I know i will lose all the data on Disk1 with New Config, but that is my only option at this point.

Check filesystem on disk1, run it without -n, and if it asks for -L use it.

It the repair is successful you can then move the data to another disk(s) and do a new config with the 4TB SSD.

Diags are after rebooting so we can't see what happened, but most likely a power/connection issue.
