kamalman Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I have placed an internal SATA drive in my tower. It has the MAC's HFS+ filesystem on it. I need to transfer data from it to the array. I am trying to use SNAP to do this. SNAP will allow me to give the drive a sharename and also mount it. But I am not able to view the share in windows explorer. It does not appear to be mounting this drive correctly. In the end I just need to get this data off my HFS+ drive, is there any way to do this with SNAP or some other program? Please help.
kamalman Posted November 30, 2011 Author Posted November 30, 2011 Can you expand on that recommendation? That seems a bit vague.
kizer Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 The command MC gives you a text based interface that looks like Windows Explorer Then you simply tab to move from pane to pane. If you use a mouse on a PC or Mac you can click on objects opposed to use keyboard commands. A bit easier, but really simple once you get used to things. That might not help with the mounting issues, but that does answer what "mc" does.
