November 30, 201114 yr hey is there an add-on or customization so i can hook up my printer to my unraid server and it act as a printer server or is that a bit too complex/difficult? if not, i have a windows 7 htpcs, is that possible without it being on 24/7 or does it always need to be on?

Check out the "p910nd Shared Printer driver" available in the package manager under unMENU. It will allow you to use the unrAID server as a printer server.
