SliMat Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 (edited) I have a failed 6Tb parity disk in my array and have bought a replacement disk with about 3300 hours on it. So, I thought I would run a couple of preclear cycles to make sure its OK before putting it in the array. During the first cycle I got an email saying; Warning [UNRAID] - reallocated sector ct is 1 It is now running its second cycle and I have received an email saying; Warning [UNRAID] - reallocated sector ct is 8 When I preview the results I see this; Should I worry about these warning messages? Are they indicative that my 'new' disk is failing and also, given that Any advice appreciated as my array has been unprotected for a couple of weeks now and I am concerned in case I have another disk fail. Thanks Edited April 14, 2024 by SliMat Quote
SliMat Posted April 15, 2024 Author Posted April 15, 2024 OK, the second cycle has completed and shows this, even though it says success do these results indicate that this disk is failing too? Quote
Solution Kilrah Posted April 15, 2024 Solution Posted April 15, 2024 Yes, would not put that drive in use with 8 newly reallocated sectors. Quote
