SMB drives appears as one

Featured Replies

Today i decided to purchase unraid, without knowing how to use it. Yes i know i have 30 day trial , but it gaves me an error that i can't activate it , my question is this, i manage to install plex , jellyfin and stuff, but i made an SMB to access my drives from my computer, it appear as a total storage (i have a 2TB HHD,250SSD and 64SSD) , and in windows i see 2.2TB on the drive. Is there any way i can make them show individually ? I want to test the ssd and the hdd for my needs to see if i want to upgrade to more ssd's or i can survive with cheaper hdd for my needs.

Thank you

You should post your diagnostics.  It sounds like you put the 3 drives in the array.  Typically SSDs are not recommended for the array as there is no TRIM support.  If this is the case I would put the 2TB in the array and use the SSD in a pool for testing.

You could use disk shares to see them individually, but I would recommend leaving the HDD in the array and creating two pools for the SSDs.
