Unable to Access my Unraid Tower GUI

Featured Replies

Hello!

I just moved homes and now when I plugged in my work station and unraid machine I cannot seem to access the unraid machine via inputting the IP address into the browser. After some research I have tried deleting my network config file and that seems to have not worked. Any help is appreciated!

p.s. I am very green so you may have to spell things to out to me a bit but I am a quick learner

According to the diagnostics you still have a fixed address of 192.168.50.203 set in the network.cfg file which is strange as you say you deleted that file and the default should be DNS.   You should either set go to setting->Network and make sure you have set the server to DNS or alternatively change the IP address there to one that is compatible with your router in your new home.

You may also find the gateway addresses you have set are no longer valid or wrong.  In particular you currently seem to have the first one point back to the Unraid server rather than to the router.   Not sure what the other ones are currently pointing at?

Yes, I set it back to that address as I thought maybe setting that back after the reset could work (shortcuts on my work station use that)

I am not positive on the gateway addresses. Not quite my strongsuit here haha

I appreciate any help :)

What address does your workstation have for its IP address and gateway?    The Unraid server needs an address on the same subnet and should use the same gateway(s).

If you cannot figure things out then deleting the network.cfg file; rebooting the Unraid server; and then taking and posting new diagnostics so we can see what happens in that circumstances might help.

Sorry for the late reply. I got it to work properly. I believe it was some combination of me moving around IPs and such after deleting the network config file. Once I deleted the file again and re set up bridging I got it to work.

I really appreciate your kindness and timeliness in responses. Hero in my book 😎
