Can't access some directories on tower from vista

Featured Replies

I'm in the middle of upgrading (?) from XP Pro to Vista Ultimate, but have started having an issue with my UnRaid box.  There are some directories that I can access from Vista, but others that I cannot.  When I look at them in the Vista explorer, the ones I can access have a green icon on the folder.  The ones I cannot access don't.

I telnet'd into my box and the unix permissions are all the same for the drives.  I reset my smb permission back to the defaults, per another thread, rebooted, but that did not fix the issue either. I know that I used to be able to access them, but I did install SP1 patch last night.

What I can't figure out is why I can access some, but not all the directories.  Vista says that I don't have the right permissions to access them.

Ideas?

EDIT:  Additionally the directories that I cannot access have an "X" over the folder icon.

Seems powering off the computer for the weekend fixed what was ailing it.

Up and running fine now.
