I have 3 drives now and my array is initialized, parity is finished. If i wanted to format the flashdrive, re install a clean unRAID, and set it up again, would i lose all the data on my drives, or since they are already formatted would I need to just set up the user shares and let the parity build agian?

You would not lose any data, provided you be sure to assign the same hard disk to Parity.  You would also not lose any user shares, but if you modified any settings from their default values, you would have to re-enter those.

 

If you want to re-install - best thing to do is copy the contents of the 'config' directory.  Re-do your Flash, and then restore the 'config' directory files - this way you won't have to do re-enter any settings.
