ximian
This system was completely fine until I switch casing and some network cards. Suddenly it started getting system panics. Of course by changing case it means disks but it has the same LSI card so I would be surprised this is the issue. Any insight would be greatful. I am adding the diag file. JorgeB
Apr 22 00:57:28 chewbacca kernel: macvlan_broadcast+0x10a/0x150 [macvlan] Apr 22 00:57:28 chewbacca kernel: macvlan_process_broadcast+0xbc/0x12f [macvlan] Macvlan call traces will usually end up crashing the server, switching to ipvlan should fix it (Settings -> Docker Settings -> Docker custom network type -> ipvlan (advanced view must be enabled, top right)), then reboot. ximian
Yes, I a saw a few posts around the subject and switched the server to ipvlan instead of macvlan. But what explains this sudden issue of panic considering the server never had the issue in the other case? Is this related to the network cards ? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
It can start happening by just using a different Unraid release, or the same release with different hardware, several users had that issue come up after a change. Quote Link to comment
