April 23, 20242 yr Not sure it the right place, but : I tried to change NPM setting (going back to bridge) and got an error. As NPM did not run anymore, i de-installed and try to re-installed it, but failed. Here is the error message. I made no change in my unraid, apart from changing Maclan (wich was causing instability with VM) to IPvlan for dockers.
April 24, 20242 yr that is a normal error and a known limitation of Unraid.... As some, docker look for a swap file to handle memory. In truth, This can be ignored. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/147455-support-unifi-controller-unifi-unraid-reborn/?do=findComment&comment=1393715 Otherwise if you have a cached setup and the cached is formatted as btrfs you can install the unraid 6.9 swap plugin. the swap file just needs to be created and not used. to use this plugin, the swap file needs to exist on a btrfs formatted disk drive.
December 16, 20241 yr Hello, I installed Nginx Manager and was playing around with it, only to end up losing all connectivity to my server (only accessible now via physical connection of monitor/keyboard/mouse and logging in to GUi from there). I am desperately trying to undo whatever issue this docker caused but I cannot seem to get rid of it, even if I remove the docker... I do notice that when I install it and change something, it also gives me the "kernel does not support swap limit capabilities" error, does it mean that that could be what is breaking my server? disclaimer: I'm a total novice at Unraid and anything IT related
December 17, 20241 yr Hello, This is the diagnostic. The main issue for me is not the swap limit error but the fact that my server has no more remote access since messing around with Nginx.
