Alternative to the Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8

Featured Replies

Hello , i'm from portugal and the only place where i found the Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8 in europe was in scan.co.uk and they only ship to the uk  .

Could someone recommend me an alternative to it ? with similar price if possible (something from ebay.co.uk or amazon.co.uk or other european retailer wich sends to the rest of europe)

Thank you very much

(There's plenty of sas/sata 8 raid cards on ebay but would like one that plays nice with unraid)

Thanks

The LSI based cards in this thread might be an option.  They haven't been used as long with unRaid, but I'm using one with 5.0beta12a and it's been working well.

Thanks going to check that out , appreciate it :)

Worst comes the IBM M1015 also seems like an option right , was just checking the builds and saw someone with one .

Much appreciated

Ah it appears to be on the list you gave me yey :)

Ah awesome ! :) the 2 supermicros are taken or just 1 ?

Thanks for the tip , will certainly look into it , on ebay the shipping prices were like 40 and 50$ , like this tho it's very much worth it :)

Also looks like there are some supermicro ones on amazon.de going to check that out

according to me one, there are more potential buyers  I saw in the thread. Good luck
