December 7, 201114 yr Hi, First, thanks to everyone for help this week as I get this first unraid server set up. Lots of good help here around getting shares set up and tackling file backup questions. Now to my newest issue Put on the first movie on my HTPC this evening and the movie stutters or hangs occasionally (maybe once/minute or so). My HTPC is windows 7, using mediabrowser. I use all wired cat 5e around the house, with giga switches. Any ideas or help on how to methodically troubleshoot? I have read on the forums here that a bad cat5e cable could cause this? I do crimp my own, but do not have a tester. How could I try and narrow this down to a hardware (cable, switch) issue versus something I have configured wrong in the unraid settings? what unraid settings/configuration could cause the issue? thanks again for the help
