[6.9.2] Help me upgrade, it failed miserably last time I tried

Featured Replies

Howdy, all! As the title states, last time I tried to upgrade from 6.9.2 it failed miserably, I ended up having to restore a backup of my SD to get it to boot. It was a whole mess, and I still can't even figure out what went wrong.

I put it off for a long time because of all the drama surrounding the 6.9 to 6.10 (if I remember right) upgrade that was breaking things.

Any help would be appreciated, perhaps I'm just gun shy for no reason and last time was a fluke...

Below is the contents of the fix common problems plugin. I believe I could ignore most of these, but correct me if I am wrong. I think the ca.backup error is simply because I'm still running 6.9.2 and this deprecated plugin is not supported with later versions:
