[SOLVED] Am i doing this right

Featured Replies

Hi all, so i started using unraid on a single drive, 2TB. I setup a Share named Videos and away i went. I then added another 2TB HD, and made it my second drive. Then i went into my video share and changed Allocation method: High water, Split Level: 2. left everything else, now my first HD is %57 used, now my understanding is that when a share hits 50% on high water it will start using the other drive. this as not happen, am i missing something wrong here? Here a screen shot of my share setting for Videos

With the 5.0bxxx releases, other users have posted that they needed to reboot before a new drive was used.
