Access sonarr remotely

Featured Replies

Good day all.

A newbie here! I have unraid connect and was looking to access Sonarr remotely to add shows. When try it is only showing a local connection. Can anyone pont me to what to do next? Thanks

You "should" setup a reverse proxy, or VPN, or, I've heard, a Cloudflare Tunnel?

MrGrey.

Reverse proxy is the best, if you have a domain it's very easy to setup reverse proxy using nginx proxy server to access your sonarr or radarr or any other as a subdomain sonarr.example.com.

From within the sonarr docker you can setup a user and pass under SETUP - GENERAL - scroll down to Security & choose your method of auth.

another method if you only have one docker to access is using Cloudflare tunnel, it also requires a domain if you have one.

Start here: IBRACORP - Reverse Proxy or search Spaceinvader One youtube channel. It's not something you can setup in half an hour. Take your time.

Or, as mentioned before, you can use a vpn. Unraid has wireguard built-in.
