May 2, 20242 yr Hello forum people! I'm hoping one of you lovely people can give me some advice or insight. So my USB died the beginning of the week - I restored to a backup, only to realise the backup was taken before I added two new drives to my array and swapped out the parity drive. I had four 6TB drives setup - 3 data and 1 for Parity. I added 2 new 8TB drives last month sometime - which necessitated me swapping out the parity drive. Now I've restored to the backup before the changes took place and it wants to use the original parity - So I'm not sure how I should proceed? I can't assign the 8TB to parity as its telling me it will wipe it. Any help or advice gratefully received. Thank you!
