May 3, 20242 yr I recently suffered a 2 drive failure and have backed up the data to 2 existing disks. I am currently running preclears on 2 of the drive replacements. Disk 2 (sdf) has just thrown read errors and is currently disabled. I just ran a preclear on this disk before restoring the data. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Not sure if 2 of my existing drives are also dying. plexi-diagnostics-20240503-2301.zip
May 3, 20242 yr Community Expert Solution Looks more like a power/connection problem, see if disks 1 and 2 share something in common, like a power splitter.
May 3, 20242 yr Author they are currently connected to a sata backplane that I have 2 x replaced recently, could this be the problem?
May 8, 20242 yr Author after troubleshooting, i switched out the psu and everything is working fine after the rebuild, thanks for the tip!
