May 4, 20242 yr Hello Unraid Community, I'm experiencing recurrent server crashes on Unraid 6.12.10. These crashes occur randomly, with varying frequency (approximately 1 to 2 times per day). During these incidents, the server becomes unavailable, stops responding to ping requests, and no output is displayed on the HDMI output. However, it's evident that the server is still operational as all hardware components such as LEDs, disks, motherboard, and fans remain active. The only way to resolve the issue is by forcing a server restart. I've been unable to pinpoint the cause of this issue. Despite enabling syslog, no additional information is logged during these crashes. This situation is becoming increasingly frustrating. As an attempted solution, I switched the Docker network from macvlan to ipvlan, as suggested in the latest release notes. However, this change did not alleviate the problem (although I acknowledge that this issue might not be directly related to the Docker network configuration). Unfortunately, I'm unable to gather further information during these crashes due to the lack of display output and absence of logs. Any assistance or insights into resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Edited May 4, 20242 yr by Major
May 4, 20242 yr Exact the same issue here. I have a N100 System and update to 6.12.10 today and now the system freeze. It does not respond to ping requests. The display output is blank. Only a force shutdown with the power button shut the system down. After reboot the same issue happen again after 1-2 minutes. This is such a mess..... I change from QNAP to Unraid half a year ago and there are just fck bugs in every patch that made the system unusable. Reboot in save mode change nothing the same issue happen after a few minutes. How can i downgrade to the previous version? Thank god i make a backup of the flash drive before the update. After format the flash drive and copy the backup back to the stick i am still at 6.10.12?

As far as I'm concerned, crashes are limited to 1 or 2 times a day and the server works properly apart from that. 23 minutes ago, trurl said: Reboot then attach Diagnostics to your NEXT post in this thread. It's strange because I've been using Unraid with the same hardware for several years without any problems. I've just disabled the C-States and set the "Power Supply Idle Control" parameter to "typical current idle" as indicated in the thread. I'll let my NAS run for a week to see if it solved my problem before closing the thread. Have a nice day ;)
