Cache drive failed. How to back any info up

Featured Replies

My cache drive seems to off just crashed everything was reported to be fine earlier in the day and then all of a sudden I’ve lost access to my dockers and my unraid server itself had to hard boot my server and now I’m getting an error with the cache drive. The only real thing I’m worried about is my app data for my dockers as to not lose my plex data etc. is there anyway I could try salvage anything from my cache it’s showing up on the dashboard and saying active but can’t access it. Still shows the amount used and free as well.

=== START OF SMART DATA SECTION ===
SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: FAILED!
- media has been placed in read only mode

NVMe device failed and needs to be replaced, you try mounting the pool read-only to see if it work to copy the data.

Or Im doing something wrong not sure. Does this like write on the image attached

You need to specify the partition:

/dev/nvme0n1p1

Thank you so when I’ve added p1 to the rescue all one to the temp folder this time I got no messages and it just came back to my root line. Does this mean stuff has worked if so were would the data be for me to look at cheers. I tried the backup one further down and it says it’s allready mounted now. IMG_0164.thumb.jpeg.7ce7c522c15785af5cd1468ebd5a9be9.jpeg

Thanks I’ve figured it out finally and btrfs has been running now for a while and I can see data getting transferred over soon as it’s finished I’ll install my new cache drive and transfer it back. Will remember to create backups from now on ha
