daytona235
Hi all, It's been awhile. Server has been working great for so many years with zero issues. Looks like somehow both my mirrored SSDs (running BTRFS) for my cache which also holds my docker stuff crashed at the same time. Any chance of a recovery? All help is appreciated. Thank you in advance. Diag info included. theoracle-diagnostics-20240506-0741.zip Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted May 6 Solution Share Posted May 6 If the log tree is the only issue this may help: btrfs rescue zero-log /dev/sdm1 Then re-start the array Quote Link to comment
daytona235
Thank you - I also noticed the SSD's were reporting 100 degrees temp. I stopped the server to let everything cool down - think my network closet may need some more cooling. @JorgeB could you please point me to any primer on BTRFS recovery? I am not a linux maven have learned along the way - been using UNRAID for like 25 years now. Love this tech and it makes me learn new stuff. Thanks again Edited May 6 by daytona235 Quote Link to comment

daytona235
Totally worked. THANK YOU. Any idea what caused this and how do I prevent this? also should I execute this commend ever so often? Planning to move to 2x NVMI 1TB soon - with ZFS. Any advice? Thank you Quote Link to comment

Difficult to say other than possibly an unlcean shutdown. 23 minutes ago, daytona235 said: also should I execute this commend ever so often? No, only if there's a problem with the log tree 23 minutes ago, daytona235 said: Planning to move to 2x NVMI 1TB soon - with ZFS. Any advice? It's a good idea. Quote Link to comment
