scotttiamit
I was trying to enable passthrough of my onboard graphics to a VM and after enabling the option to 'bind selected to vfio' and rebooting now unRAID freezes on boot. The last message I see it loading /bzroot...ok and then nothing. I cannot ping or access the web ui. I plugged the usb into my PC and renamed the vfio-pci.cfg under the config folder to vfio-pci.old but the issue remains. I read somewhere someone had this issue and disabling UEFI sorted it however I cannot do this as my ASROCK bios says I need to connect an external graphics card. I have checked the 'logs' folder and the latest zip file looks to be 4 days old. Any ideas on what else I can try here? Cheers Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Try deleting/renaming /config/vfio-pci.cfg Quote Link to comment

Solution JorgeB Posted May 8 Solution Share Posted May 8 Sorry, missed that, then the issue should be unrelated to binding the GPU, try booting with a new flash drive using a stock install, no key needed, just to see if it boots. Quote Link to comment
scotttiamit
Thanks for confirming. I plugged my USB into my PC and backed it up then used the unRAID USB Creator to wipe and recreate my flash drive. I then copied back the config folder and booted it up without any issues. Something must of been corrupt and it was just a coincidence with that setting change. Cheers. 1 Quote Link to comment
