December 15, 201114 yr The 750GB second generation is available now @ newegg for $239. Too much for me to justify now. We'll see what the next year brings. I only use these for laptops, However I was considering them for a backup to an ESXi datastore. This way if an SSD fails, I can still hobble along.
December 16, 201114 yr Author I finally have multiple of these (the 500 GB versions) and will be doing some testing with them in a mixed SSD environment....eventually.
