USB Disk unavailable after reboot

Featured Replies

Hi. I have the problem after reboot the usb disk is not available. When i remove and plugin the cable, the disk is newly connected. the usb disk is a 16TB one.

i think, an usb reset after reboot would help but i didnt found a command script for that.

is this a known behavior or did someone have a solution for that?

Unraid is updated. the PC is an MiniPC with 16GB Ram and 1TB disk (4 cors)

USB not recommended for array or pools for many reasons

Not a helpful answer!  ..because Unraid is not able to handle it?

I have an Disk-Array behind my Unraid-PC and the only connection is USB.

So the only solution for me is to leave unraid.

It is a much more complex problem that that involves the BIOS, the chip set that services the USB port, Linux and, yes, Unraid.   Some times everything works fine.  When the stars don't align, there are nothing but problems.  You appear to have a computer that falls in the second category.
