Unraid keeps freezing when boot

Featured Replies

Hi i have trouble to unraid keeps freezing.

Im using 2 servers. (1 unraid, 1 synology)

my synology server is archive all data and shareing.

So, i connected to my synology server at unraid using unsigned device.

I think when read/write synology server in unraid docker and else then keep freezing.

here is my syslog and diagnostics.

syslog tower-diagnostics-20240515-1418.zip

That syslog only covers few minutes, do you know what was the time of the crash?

In that case, and unfortunately, there's nothing relevant logged, this can be a hardware issue, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.

I tested safe mode and each docker container single start test.

then i find the problem is when container rw array or cache pool then stopped unraid os.

i really dont know what is solution in this situation.

Also, I tested memtest, stress test for vga, cpu. and remove or change vga ram. it was passed.

Oh, I need to explain in detail.

When Docker container read and write storage. (e.g. jellyfin search file, download multiple file at once.)

Then unraid os completely stopped.

Try using exclusive or disk shares for those, or if that doesn't help, use separate pools if possible.

I changed pools to one hdd.

And Isolatied CPU core's unraid and each docker container then didn't freeze any more!!

Thanks for helping. :)
