How to disable SMTP notifications?

Featured Replies

I'm using 6.12.10

there is no option to disable the SMTP notification agent; there is no "disable" option like there is with the rest of the agents listed - why?

I have another agent that works fine, I don't need two. Yes, I can set "custom" and leave it to fail auth and log that every day, but why can't i just disable it?

You should probably submit this as a feature request.

As work-around you can untick "email" for each notification type under "Notification Settings" and/or remove the mail server and user credentials from the smtp config.

yeah, i've unchecked the email in the list - the trick was to remove the server.

How/where did you remove the server?

It’s in Settings>Notification Settings>SMTP Settings.
