Use array while pre-clearing?

I am 99% sure from researching, but wanted to double check that i can use my array (Watch Plex movies, save files, listen music, etc) while a new HDD is pre-clearing using the plugin?

 

I did not add the disk to the array yet and have Unraid do it for me. I went to Tools > PreClear Disk.

 

Would greatly appreciate a sanity check!

    3. Adjust your preference.
