MSI P6NGM Series Motherboard fully working with unRAID 4.3

What cpu are you using?  Did you run into any glitches during install and setup?

 

I've been searching for an mATX board since there are no more P5B-VM DO mobo's available.

 

Are you only using the 4 SATA ports or do you have more drives and how do you have them hooked up to the mobo?

 

Sorry for all the questions, but I just got my XBOX working (xbmc) and need to get all my movies on this server ASAP.

CPU: Intel Celeron D 336 Prescott 2.8GHz 256KB

I only have 5 drives at the moment ..... 1 of them an IDE 80 gig for my Music and Pics

I did get a MASSCOOL PCI Card, 4 internal SATA Model XWT-RC040 .... Tested and works.

Only issue I had was with the onboard NIC which was resloved when 4.3 was released.

Sweetness!  I was just putting my order together on NewEgg and I had picked out the Masscool PCI card also, glad to hear it works.

 

I'll be using the Intel Celeron 430 Conroe-L 1.8GHz for my CPU and I just ordered a Corsair 550 PSU.

this system has been up for 2 months without a reeboot ..... untill I upgraded to 4.3 and took out the PCI NIC .... I think you will be happy with it .

I'm going to be assembling everything this weekend and hopefully get it up and running.

 

1) Are you using version 4.3-beta3 or 4.3-beta5? 

2) Did you have to change much/anything on the mobo (jumpers/bios settings) when you set it up? 

3) Should I start off with all the hard drives hooked up or just 3 since I'll start off with the free version of unraid just to get it configured.

4) You didn't happen to buy a 2 pack of the Pro key that I could buy the second code off of you ($100)?
