Hi, is there a way to change the default permissions to 777?  I use the FTP server and the only way to get a listing and be able to download is by chmod 777 -R my shares, how can I make the default permissions 777?

    chmod'ing to 777 your entire machine is not the correct approach to fixing permissions.

     

    Look into correctly setting up the ftp server (vsftpd) that is included in unRAID.  That will give you much better results in the long run.
